All In For Our Schools
Generosity in action. Together making a difference.
Historical Impact
Our community stepped up in an extraordinary way for Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools. When our schools faced an unprecedented financial crisis, neighbors, businesses, foundations, and donors came together to answer the call. Thanks to that generosity, the budget gap from the 2025–2026 school year has been closed.
This achievement is more than a fundraising milestone—it is a powerful reminder of what is possible when a community rallies around its public schools. To learn more about the impact of this collective effort and the progress that has been made, read the final report here: 2026 Closeout Report
Strong public schools are the foundation of a thriving community, and now that we have met this urgent need, we have an opportunity to build on this momentum. Together, we can help ensure our students, educators, and schools have the resources they need not just to recover, but to thrive into the future. That’s why we created the permanent All In For Our Schools Fund. What began as a response to a crisis has become a community-wide commitment to supporting public education and creating an incredible comeback story for Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools.

All in for Our Schools Fund
The “All In for Our Schools” Fund is our community’s pathway forward to supporting strong public education for Winston-Salem/Forsyth County families. The Fund, started as a response to crisis, is now the permanent fund for general donations at the Education Foundation and provides flexible, unrestricted support for our teachers, students, and schools. Unlike restricted funding tied to a single program, it lets our community respond quickly to opportunities and challenges throughout the school year.
Contributions to the fund may support:
- Teacher support and recognition
- Classroom resources and instructional materials
- Student enrichment opportunities
- Emergency or unmet school needs
By giving to the All In for Our Schools Fund, donors are investing in the overall success and well-being of our school community and helping ensure that students and educators have the support they need when they need it most.
